This is Joe and Corbin.For fitness today we went out to the courts. We did our relays with tennis balls. It was fun because it got us warmed up for the day.
Next we are going talk about today's maths We played the takeaway bar for our I.C.T. activity before practising place value addition with space zapper.
In the hall we used figure it outs to practise our table chart and bar graphs. Then we did matchstick magic. You have shapes that you try to make with matchsticks, then to change to another shape by only moving one or two matchsticks. It's pretty challenging!In the Titan's reading group, I (Corbin) predicted word meanings then went on http://www.dictionary.com to find the expert definition.
This afternoon we filled in our feelings diary and some more awesome photography.
Your challenge: Here is the first shape that used 12 matchsticks to make 5 squares. How could you move only two sticks and make 7 squares? Tune in tomorrow and find out the secret... dun, dun, dun...
