Well today was an exciting day! Theme - 'There is a little magic in every book'. It was the Grand Opening of the Indigo Room and we got to dress up as our favorite book character, even Mrs Goodall dressed up as the fairy godmother from Cinderella.The book character parade and dress up games went off without a hitch with each class showing off their stunning costumes. The standard of costumes was very high. Ngatimoti teacher, Mrs Hadley, said she was impressed with the level of creativity that had gone into the costumes.
Next we were welcomed into the new Indigo room where there were speeches, a blessing, a dance and even a puppet with an environmental message.
The afternoon was just as exciting with rotation of magical activities with our buddies. Some did magic tricks and can now step through a piece of paper while others appreciated and voted for our photos to go in the photography competition. Voting will be open for tomorrow until 3 o'clock and anyone can vote.
