Hi it's Taylor and Bryn here.
We learnt a new song called Ma te magi ka ora to sing at the Grand opening of the Indigo room.
After fitness this morning we had maths time. Bryn's group, Taimana did maths journaling and then went on to Space Zapper. Taylor's group, Porowhita, played Diamond Dazzle then learnt to subtract using place value standard form.
Later on after morning tea we were doing poetry activities and writing our own haiku, cinquain and other poems using alliteration, simile, metaphors and onomatopoeia. Here is Taylor's haiku poem about water.
In the afternoon, we had circle time and photography. We got to use our 'Opportunities Box' for the first time.
